Here are some recordings we made before Chris joined the band. Her three instruments have considerably enhanced our sound but these will give you an idea of what we do.
Watch this space for new recordings which we are working on now!
The Mast Set
A set with gaita (Galician bagpipes) and guitar. The first tune, Dancing Around the Mast, was written by Stephen after a particularly good ceilidh in Easdale Island Hall. The Hall has a central pillar which is a mast salvaged from a ship which ran aground on the nearby island of Inish in the late 19th century. The second tune is called Polka Para Erika and was written by the fine Spanish pipe maker Anton Varela.

March, Strathspey and Reel
A set with mandolin and guitar. Some good Scots tunes here… the march is called the 74th Highlander’s Quickstep, we forget the name of the Strathspey and the reel is called Duntroon.

Angie’s Set
A couple of tunes on whistle and guitar. These were written by Stephen for the wedding of his good friends Angie and Roy.

Corridinho’s
Another mandolin and guitar set. These tunes are dance tunes from Portugal and are imaginatively titled Corridinho No1 and Corridinho do Algarve.

I am in the process of moving all our sites to a new hosting company. The sites have been hosted with GoDaddy for the last year and I can’t say I have been very impressed with the service. More…
