Pigtown Fling will be playing at The Dent Folk Festival, Sedbergh, Cumbria, England on Friday 26th June 2009. Chris is unable to make it so Rab and Stephen will be playing as a duo.
Pigtown Fling will be playing in The Puffer Bar, Easdale Island, Oban, Argyll, Scotland on Saturday 13th June 2009 to help celebrate one year under new ownership. This will be a particularly emotional gig for Stephen as he was, for over 10 years, the previous owner of The Puffer. Please come along and join the party!

Pigtown Fling will be playing in La Fresnais, Brittany, France on Sunday 2nd August 2009.
We will be playing some of our usual repertoire, but a large part of the gig will involve teaching Scottish ceilidh dances and hopefully playing for a few Breton dances too. We will be taking our dear friend Christophe Lefebvre with us on second fiddle and translating duties.
Pigtown Fling will be playing in La Fontenelle, Brittany, France on Saturday 1st August 2009. We have been invited to play at the Friends of Jean Langlais Festival for a second year running.

Time passes quickly, and before you can say Nikoli Ni Ves it was time to leave. One more job to go though. The local tourist board is keen to expand the links between Slovenia and Scotland and wanted to do a photo and video shoot at the castle. Today we started with one of the more bizarre of our gigs. In the heavy snow we made our way to the local shopping mall, Qlandia, where we wandered about in our Scottish Kurent costumes playing pipes and drums and generally harassing the local shoppers and shop keepers. This seems to go down really well and it’s not the first time we have played here, but can you imagine the same thing in Braehead?? More…
